Product Features
Upon arrival your technician will survey your desired installation area. Your technician will determine the complexity of your installation and clearly explain the process of mounting your television.
Considering not all homes are built the same, your technician may find additional challenges once wiring behind your wall. Your technician will then explain your options and additional charges if necessary.
Additional charges are mandatory for mounting on uneven surfaces (stone, brick, siding, tile or marble), installing recessed mounts, large articulating mounts, motorized mounts, installing extender kits, drilling through horizontal studs or connecting components beyond two (2).
Installation Process
- Mount your wall bracket to the desired mounting surface (wall or under cabinet).
- Mount and secure your television (flat-panel) to wall bracket.
- Connect the TV power cord to an existing AC power outlet.
- Create two (2) access points for connection of A/V source components to video display (one at video display and one at A/V source). Additional charges apply if third access point is created to drill through horizontal stud.
- Attach customer-supplied cables from the TV to a single A/V source component by routing cable through a single-stud bay in a standard wall frame (only CL-rated wire will be run in the wall).
- Ensure all wall-finished cable exit points are finished off with either a wall bushing or specialized wall plate.
- Clean up work area and dispose of boxes, packaging materials and installation debris.
- Set up a non-learning type, manufacturer or service-provider supplied remote control device with proper codes to control components per factory-set specifications.
- Demonstrate operation of your new equipment
- Approximate time: 1-1/2 hrs.
The following are not included with this service:
- New setup of DVR, TiVo, Slingbox, or any networked type video components
- Speaker and/or receiver setup
- Programming of universal-type learning remote
- Holes drilled, wires hidden within walls or any type of custom in-wall wiring
